Registered Reflexology Course - Become an RCRT!

Reflexology is the study of reflex points on the body that correspond with areas, organs, glands and other parts of the body. It has been around for thousands of years and is the "original acupuncture" before they started using needles to access points. Massage and pressure on these points is very effective and widely used for a number of different treatment reasons. Reflex points are found all over the body, not just the feet. Hands ears and head also have a map, which is why I think foot, hand and head massages always feel extra amazing, they are like full body massages! Reflexology is known to improve circulation, return body to homeostasis, induce relaxation, reduce stress in the body and more. This course includes foot practice only. However, further study of the other maps on the body can be easily learned after taking this training.

In this hands-on course you will learn how to treat reflex points in the feet to stimulate/ access these different organs, glands and parts of the body. It has been accredited by the Reflexology Association of Canada (RAC) for over 30 years since Dr. Jeffrey Cottam (Aromatica Centre for Natural Therapies and Holistic Study) created this curriculum to ensure students receive a high level of education and in turn, offer high quality Reflexology treatments. Students then go on to complete 50 hours of practicums/sessions. Once finished the practicum hours (no longer than 12 months), you can contact Bonnie Therapies to book your practical and written exams. Passing students are eligible to submit transcript and 50 practicum hours to RAC and take board exams to become a Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (RCRT). This professional designation gives you the ability to write receipts for clients who have Reflexology or Flex insurance coverage.
