The course comes from teachings of Narendra Mehta who opened the London Centre of Indian Champissage. The Indian word 'champi' meaning head massage and also where the English word 'shampoo' derived from. More fascinating history is included in the course text.

This course will teach you everything you need to know, hands on, to become a professional and knowledgeable IHM practitioner. After the 2 in-class days, 15 recorded practicum hours are required before students can schedule the exam. This modality allows practitioners to make approximately $60-$100 per hour depending on treatment location and extras offered.
